03 · Itinerary
Four days. Three nights. Taught on the ground.
21–24 November 2026 · Patalsu Peak, Himachal Pradesh
Arrive, settle in, walk in the dark
Meet the group, get your gear sorted, and take an easy walk through the village to let your body adjust to the altitude. Two short sessions on reading mountain weather and staying warm at height. After dinner, we walk out to a clearing with no torches at all and let our eyes adjust to the sky.
You’ll learn packing, your equipment, reading weather, cold and altitude
Climb to camp, then build it
Four to five hours uphill through forest, with pace, breathing and trail-reading taught as we walk. At camp you pitch your own tent, light your own fire without a lighter, and help cook dinner on it. The night ends with an astronomer, a telescope and a sky most people have never seen.
You’ll learn pitching a camp, making fire, cooking at altitude, the night sky
Summit at sunrise
A 5 AM start in the dark, head torches on, so the sun comes up while you’re still on the ridge. Summit, then back to camp for hot food and a long, well-earned afternoon of nothing. Later, a first-aid session and thirty minutes sitting alone at dusk, the part everyone talks about afterwards.
You’ll learn summit trekking, mountain first aid, sitting with yourself
Prove it, then home
Teams race to build a shelter and boil water using everything they’ve learned. We pack down the camp until the spot looks untouched, walk down through the forest, and finish with certificates handed out by name over lunch.
You’ll learn shelter building, leaving no trace
Days shift with weather and with the group. Your instructors call it on the ground, always for safety.

07 · FAQ
What people ask us before signing up.
Something we didn’t answer? Email hello@troovle.in. A human replies.
/01How fit do I need to be?
You should be comfortable walking briskly for two hours with a 10–12 kg pack. Day 2 is a 4–5 hour uphill walk; Day 3 is the summit push in the dark. If you can walk 8 km with a daypack today, you’re fine. We’ll send a light two-week prep guide once you’re in.
/02How cold does it actually get, and what do you provide?
Nights at high camp drop to −4 to −8 °C, days sit around 8–14 °C in the sun. We provide the 4-season tent, a −15 °C rated sleeping bag, an insulated sleeping mat and a hot water bottle for the bag. You bring your own layers, packing list arrives on the confirmation email.
/03How do families reach me in an emergency?
Guides carry a Garmin inReach satellite communicator with 24/7 emergency response. Before the trip we share a phone number with your emergency contact, anyone can reach us in a real emergency, day or night. You’ll be off your own phone, not off-grid.
/04What’s included in ₹14,999, and what’s not?
Included: 3 nights stay (village + high camp), all meals from Day 1 tea to Day 4 lunch, certified mountain instructors, camping gear, first aid, local transport between meeting point and trailhead, and your Troovler badge kit. Not included: getting yourself to the meeting point, personal boots/jacket rental if you don’t own them, personal expenses.
/05Is it safe? Who is guiding us?
Two lead guides on the ground, mountain-trained, with wilderness first-aid certification. Full medical kit at camp, satellite communicator for emergencies, and evacuation plans mapped for every day. Summit day has a hard 10:00 AM turnaround agreed before anyone leaves camp. If the weather calls it, we adapt.
/06How does signup actually work?
